Was reluctant to buy this as its expensive for what it is but I had a discount code so thought I'd give it a whirl and now I can't use anything else. Perfect to give natural brush strokes and creating shape to the brow. I've tried so many of this style before including nyx and mac and this is by far the best.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with normal, olive tone skin and green eyes. My hair is medium brown, dry with normal texture.
And so Todays review is on one of my favourite brow pencils- Benefit's goof proof pencil and I have it in the shade 05.
I enjoy using this pencil because the formula is perfect. It isn't too creamy to the point where it can smear and smudge and also not too waxy where it's difficult to fill them in.
Tips: I feel like good brows is achieved when you use a light hand. Light pressure when filling them in, gives hair like strokes and a combination of the spoole-y to brush out product is key. Always start slowly in the beginning of the brows, and more darker towards the centre and end of the brows to give a natural gradient.
This product retails for £22.50 and contains 0.34g.
Also just to mention, if you have very sparce brows then I do recommend the precisely my brow version, which has a thinner nib and is great if you really need to mimmic hair like strokes and if you want to achieve that fluffy natural brow finish.
I have uploaded a tutorial to show you how I use it. I've only given this product 4 stars because its is price-y and you are able to get more affordable brow pencils but the actual product works very well and I highly recommend.

This was the first Benefit brow product I ever tried which then started off my love of Benefit brow products. Love the packaging, matches all of the other Benefit brow products. It’s more on the expensive side but worth it. I’m in the shade 3 which works really well as I have light brown hair. You do get quite a lot of product in it and it lasts me a fair while. Very easy to use. Doesn’t take no time at all to fill in your brows. It glides on really well. Super easy and quick to fill in your brows. I would highly recommend this and I’ve already repurchased it.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with sensitive, olive tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is light brown, dry with normal texture.
Fine on one side of the crayon type pencil and then a thicker edge opposite. One the other end pf the pencil is a spolie, irs a soft bristled one, not cheap and nasty. I find the pencil easy to use and create, either a natural brow or a more bold brow. A straight line is easy to create, and the crayon type consistency glides on to skin and hair with ease. Its also easy to blend and get rid of harsh lines.

I find this pencil so easy to use and does your brows look so natural. The shape of this pencil helps you to shape them quick and nicely , you just have to use it in strokes and in the hair direction. I highly recommend this for the every day use as is so easy to use and takes couple of minutes to do it.

This just didn’t do anything for me except make my brows look smudgy. It wasn’t very pigmented so it wasn’t doing much to fill in my brows it’s quite chunky as well so it was difficult to do any defined lines. It didn’t work for me at all.

This is such an easy product to use. Makes brows look sculpted and defined and lasts well throughout the day. The reason I have given this 4 stars is that I think the price point may be slightly high for the amount of product you receive. I think if you are doing beauty on a budget this is definitely not for you. However, if you are willing to spend a little more then this formula is great and works effortlessly.
