Sent free from GlamGeek I was lucky enough to win this Eye Pencil from GlamGleek for being their reviewer of the week. This pencil is BRILLIANT. I can smudge it; I can blend it or leave it alone. Once I have applied it, it stays where I have put it. I have used it to draw a thin line close to my lashes and a thicker line when I am not wearing eyeshadow. It stays all day and is easily removed with Micellar Water (I used IT Cosmetics) and a cleansing balm (again IT Cosmetics). I did not have panda eyes, this attractive black rings around your eyes when eye make up won’t come off. You can easily create a winged eyeliner look with it. It doesn’t drag across the eye lid like some pencils can and the ability to increase or decrease the amount of ‘lead’ showing is great as this helped me create the winged part of the liner look by placing the pencil against my eye and slowly pulling it down towards my lash line. I have had a look at their website and the colours – are all the colours I like to wear. I think I will treat myself to the grey one next.

A real eye opener for a liquid liner fan!

I've always used liquid liner on my upper and lower lash line as I found pencils smudged and began to look messy after a few hours. I have to admit I didn't have high hopes about ever getting on with an pencil but this automatic liner has completely changed my mind. One of the reasons I like a liquid liner is that the tip is pointed and sharp...not a problem for this liner as it has a hidden sharpener when you pull the end off the pencil. It flows smoothly just like a liquid liner, it's more pigmented than any liquid liner I have used and it lasts longer than a liquid liner without a touch up! I put it on at 8am...even went for a massage which leaves my eyes looking a smeary mess after closing them for an hour...but..8pm and its still intact, no fading, no smudging or bleeding. This is not something I have ever experienced with an liquid eyeliner, normally the outer lash line has faded in the corners or smudged by midday, but there was no maintenance needed with this product. I'm not sure how long this product will last as I do like the keep the point sharp for application, however, every liquid liner I have ever purchased has started to dry out within a month and costs me more than the automatic liner which comes in at a reasonable £8.95. I love discovering a new hidden gem, especially ones that are affordable, and I feel happy about recommending to friends and family 👍⭐️

TO USE

Supporting the outer corner of your eye, to help with the application, apply the pencil along the top of your upper lashes. Pressing with light to medium pressure, start from the inner part of the eye extending out to the edge of the eye. For added definition, use the flat edge of the pencil to gently apply a line along the lower lashes. Apply a thin line close to the eyelashes or draw a thicker line flicking up at the end for a more dramatic look.
