I recently bought soft ochre to try since before I used to use concealer as primer but this really does make a difference, eyeshadow sticks super well to it and blends better too I've noticed, it's a bit pricey in my mind but that's just because I'm not used to buying primer however it's an extra step that really is worth it and benefits your final look loads so I will be buying more when I'm done with my current paint pot.

i have soft ocre and painterly and i love using these bases, netural and shadow sticks well to it, can use any eyeshadow and not have any trouble, i use soft ocre more but i do love these paint pots and will pick a few more up when i can, good for makeup artists and good for beginners, i have no complaints with these bases whatsoever

The perfect pre make up base! This is perfect to use as an eyeshadow primer. Your product will stay ALL DAY and the pigment in the colour is even more beautiful. Absolutely LOVE this product!!

This product is good, it has lots of coverage and makes a great base for eyeshadow. The only thing I have a problem with is that it dries quite quickly so you need to work quickly.
This paintpot also works great as a cream shadow on its own but as an eye primer it’s better.
I think everyone needs to try this but there are cheaper alternatives like the freedom makeup pro camouflage concealer pot or the w7 eye base if your budget isn’t that large

I brought this in the shade painterly after seeing a lot makeup artists/influences recommend using it for eyeshadow primer especially as I have a very pale, cool toned skintone. It definitely keeps my eye makeup in place no matter how hot it is and lasts for a minimum of 24 hrs. It also makes a fantastic concealer base which is also just as long lasting. I will be rebuying this product again and again.

My daughter uses this in Soft Ochre. I have it in Bare Study and would say that the two have different consistencies. SO is creamier than Bare Study. I’d say though that the Maybelline Colour Tattoo is comparable for a budget option.

I tried concealers and primers to keep my eyeshadow from crumbling into my eye lid creases but nothing worked until this product. This keeps my eyeshadow on all night. I have one complaint, which is that it is difficult to blend and gives a crusty look before putting eyeshadow on top however this doesn't effect my final look.

I have MAC prolong wear Paint Pot and as much as love to give the exact shade name, It be worn away purely by how much I couldn’t have ever know the way this product is as daily routine used, and with that be a deceptive looking as small type of pot of which it simply isn’t as possible for a miracle be completely still not even near to have any end be upcoming, and also the product itself be as well as quality in new, of which as a cream/wetter of formulation it is completely normal for the use to be cause to dry out any type of product which is not to be cream/gels/serums and so on. I bought the item in the shade which is my personal use as much as the perfect shade to wear as a concealer and it is a close shade level to my skin but with warmer peach undertones to be the perfect eradication of the sheer cover to be easily the entire lid and brow bone with it creating a great natural ‘no makeup’ look both be covering all the very fine capillaries and pigmentation which under eye and all lid, be of hyperpigmentation due to my heritage be a trait of which is completely not there but be without a holiday, and pale as I am not to be in any way with tanned tone, this need colour correcting as a routine of any makeup but with this product, often be able to use it to conceal all the lid and be perfect tone as itself to not then look a flat colour across the face but with its warmer undertones look more than natural. I also use it for a base for which besides partial pigments be in glitter needed to have an adhesive, it be able to have no problem in the best eye base/primer which is to the natural and then be placed still as crisp, without smudging, cake-like creasing, nor be any other than wearable the heaviest and darkest of smokey eyes be the one and only thing which just keeps in line any product on top used be all eye products of any formulation. and also stop the natural wear of come to the natural wear-off of any makeup. I love also the fact it be so deeply a gem

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with acne/problem, light tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is dark brown, combination with normal texture.
Perfect base for older eyes, just wish, the color was slightly lighter. But there are no better alternatives, so keep using this. Also, for my extremely sensitive skin this is not a problem. Wish it was not tested on animals.

Paint pots...where do I start?!?!? I absolutely love them!! I use these as a primer for my eye shadow and it is so long lasting!! So smooth to apply and gives even coverage. My eye lids tend to get quite greasy so I usually find my eye make up slides off. This helped it stay in place all night!! I can not recommended this highly enough. Absolutely amazing!!!!!

I use this paint pot as an eye primer for my eye shadows to really stick on & stay put throughout the day. I use the shade “painterly” which really brings out the shades of the eyeshadows. I have worn this to special occasions, long day at work & everytime I wear make up. I have no problems with this! Great buy highly recommend! ❤️
