I am a fan of ABH palettes, having owned and loved beauty favourite “Modern Renaissance”. Keen to try a different palette from Anastasia my eye was drawn to Norvina as I love purple and from the pretty purple packaging and the lovely sparkly pastel hues of the colour story I was sold and had high expectations of it, I expected fantastic pigment and could not wait to try this out.
Don’t get me wrong the pigment is fab and the colours are pretty but it just seems impossible to create a beautiful eye look just using this palette alone, when blended together the colours sort of merge into a horrible muddy mess which left me looking like I had black eyes and been involved in some kind of punch up.
I love the sparkly shades, and I do find myself reaching for this palette when I need a shimmery spotlight to my eye but unfortunately even then the glitter like quality that the shades look like in pan don’t really transfer onto eyelid. Used dry the sparkle doesn’t pop and looks wish you washy but applied wet it goes on more metallicy and no glitter.
Pretty palette but very disappointed as I had high expectations and won’t be repurchasing.

Anastasia palettes are amazing and this one is stunning. As always the matte eyeshadows are pigmented and blendable without leaving fallout. The shimmers are so gorgeous but do leave some fallout. Apply with your fingertips to avoid this or apply your eyeshadow before foundation. I’m obsessed with all Anastasias palettes! I particularly like the lilac shade in this palette as it’s not too bright. I wouldn’t buy this again as I would like to try a different palette!

Ever since I read somewhere that purple eyeshadow suits green eyes, I've been on the hunt for a good purple/mauve/violet themed palette. So when the Norvina palette came out I was much excited and couldn't wait to order one.
Cue several months later when I could actually justify dropping almost £50 on a bit of makeup, I managed to have it in my hands. Was the wait worth it? In my opinion, yes.
The purple shades actually go on the lids purple, and not a mucky grey like most. The golds and pinks blend together beautifully and even I can get a decent eye look out of this without looking like I've been punched.
Is there fallout? Yes, lots, and I do feel a bit disheartened every time I tap the excess off the brush and about £1.50 worth of shadow falls to the floor. But as the shades are very pigmented, you only need to lightly tap the brush on there to pick up colour. I'm also not a fan of the velvet-like packaging as it always ends up looking messy.
All-in-all, is this a good eyeshadow palette? Yes, very good. Is it worth the money? Eh, kind of. It's not the most expensive out there and it is good quality, but it IS the same price as a weekly food shop.

It was fab! The mattes are so buttery and blend out seamlessly and the shimmers are blinding. You don’t need to wet your brush or anything, just pat it onto your lid and they look fab! Some are duochromes. I would definitely recommend
