It does help but doesn’t at the same time if that makes sense. I use it on the big fat white juicy spots. It seems to cool and flat them down. For textured skin or a small pimples that isn’t white it doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t burn on your first use but then you get used to it. You have to close the lid as soon otherwise it will dry up inside the bottle

Finally tried this cult favourite! I see why people like it. It dries down nicely so its not messy when you go to bed. It has a nice cooling, medical feel and smell to it and you can feel it working. I wasnt entirely blown away by the results like I thought I would be (after all the hype), but it was good. Pimples are still there the next morning but smaller in size. They go away more quickly and this is especially good to put on when you first feel a pimple forming under the skin - It can prevent it from popping up! Most importantly, i like that this is not tooo drying - because that often irritates my skin and pimples even more, but this does not! Just wish i didnt have to use a q-tip everytime i use it so it was a little more eco-friendly.

Firstly, I am not a huge fan of Mario Badescu, I have tried numerous products from sprays to face washes all of which I used a few times and then threw them away or gave to family members. This spot drying solution however, I do like and do feel that is actually working. I put this on white head spots that may have developed during the day after my night time routine and the next morning they are significantly better. I don’t find this to work on under the skin spots.

This is probably the most effective spot dryer I’ve used. This is best used at night or if not going out as dries pink. You do not shake the bottle although it feels weird not too. You use a cotton bud and dip it into the bottle then dab onto just spots. It sometimes stings. Persistent use does dry out spots. Deffo need to use a good exfoliater a few times a week and a good daily moisturiser to help with scaring and drying. This is now a daily for me and well worth the money would recommend!

I am trying this product for a month now. I’ve got acne prone skin and the drying lotion worked wonders for me ! It dried out my pimple over night ( without disappearing it) . In my opinion it is a value for money product.

It will literally clear service spots and blemishes overnight and is an actual real lifesaver. However, if you have severe acne or bad spots this won’t help at all - if anything it will make it dried out and there fore more noticeable. But still my favourite spot cream and will definatly buy again

I have wanted this for ages but never purchased it because I didn't believe the hype. I got it in a box set this week and have tried it on a few spots. All of them reduced by at least 50% by the morning. I am seriously impressed.
The downside (as it says on the bottle) is it leaves your skin dry like paper. I needed to add a really rich moisturiser this morning. Additionally the smell is really strong and not in a good way! :(
But, if anything helps with my spots, its gets 5 stars!

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with acne/problem, light tone skin and green eyes. My hair is medium brown, oily with normal texture.
I have acne prone skin at 53 and I have this product. It works a treat. Great item to have in your emergency skin care kit. It does leave your skin a little dry, I use Clarine moisturising creams to counteract the dryness. The smell is strong but it reminds me of detol, so I find it not offensive
This is the BEST drying lotion out there. I used this when I’m breaking out during that time of the month. I use this at night before I go to sleep with a cotton bud, I cover the whole spot/blemish & it will dry out the spot & make it smaller. I have gone through so many bottles of this & will never use anything else! Highly recommend!!

This is amazing, totally works, there’s nothing bad you can say about it. The best time to put it on is at night time, unless you want to walk around with pink dots on your face in the morning.
