I was really excited when garnier brought out this range of hair masks as I have recently gone from healthy dark brown hair to slightly dry/damaged bleached hair. each mask in this range has a different benefit so I was torn between the banana and the papaya option. I ended up purchasing both and found myself instantly in love with the banana mask designed for dry hair, I had great results from the very first use. I then went on to try the papaya mask for damaged hair and found it gives fairly similar results to the banana mask, I didn’t notice it doing anything obvious to my damaged ends but it was a reasonably nice mask. Overall while I have no major complaints I feel like I can get better results from the other mask so see no reason to purchase this one again.

I have recently bleached my hair from it being red, it took a lot of bleaching and it took a massive toll on my hair. Was in desperate need of a good repairing mask and stumbled across this. All i can say is WOW! It’s incredible, i love the fact that its a 3 in 1, so it can be used for everyday use too. I personally didn’t like it as a leave in treatment, it made my hair feel a little greasy the day after washing it. However it does the job as a 5-10 minute mask and an everyday conditioner, it definitely saved my hair from the damage caused by 3 lots of bleach! I will definitely be buying it again, even though my hair is in good condition now, its just so nice, leaves hair feeling smooth and the smell is delightful!

This mask smells amazing and works wonders on hair that has any sort of heat damage or split ends. You get a huge amount of product for the price(about £3.50) and you can use it as a mask, conditioner and leave in conditioner. I use it mainly as a hair mask at least once a week to give my hair some tlc. It has mostly natural ingredients and is also vegan friendly if that is something you look for.

This is a great product. Mostly natural ingredients. Huge amount in the tub - was shocked when it arrived. Found it on a good offer in superdrug. I've been using it as a hair mask so leaving it a good few minutes before rinsing. Don't like the smell at first. But the lingering scent in my hair the data after was nice. Left my hair sift and shiny. Really pleased with the results. Will buy again and maybe try another version in the range. It can be a leave in conditioner but I think on my fine hair it would be too rich/ greasy so I've not tried that.

I’m using the banana one at the moment which is fantastic. Originally I tried the aloe Vera one but my hair wanted a bit more! They’re my favourite leave on conditioners!
The Garnier Hair Food range is fantastic. I first saw it used by Instagram/ YouTube-er’s and wanted to try it. It really lived up to its reputation. Lots of product in the tub, really hydrating, good price (you can get it in B and M on offer too) and smells divine. The range as a whole can result in greasy hair if not used correctly - The instructions say it can be used as a normal conditioner, a 3-minute mask or leave in conditioner but I wouldn’t leave in more than the 3 minutes as a mask. I do have quite natural hair so maybe you could do this for heavily treated/ dry hair.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with combination, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is medium brown, combination with coarse texture.
This is my second pot of this, it smells lovely and does leave my hair feeling softer and more conditioned. However, I find that it works much better on my hair if I apply it to dry hair and leave it over night before rinsing it out. It does say on the pot that it can be used as a leave in conditioning treatment.

This product has it all. It smells amazing, can be used for CG method, doesn't have harsh chemicals like silicones and sulphates and leaves hair unbelievably soft. You can use it as a mask, as a leave in or just as normal conditioner although I will say it works best as a deep treatment mask. Leave it in for 30-45 minutes and then wash your hair, it's gonna smell delicious and be so soft and frizz-free. Will definitely buy again

My hair is very heat and chemical damaged and after using this once a week for a month my hair is feeling so much softer, thicker and I've noticed my split ends becoming less noticeable. Also a great scent that's not too overpowering. The tub lasts ages. For sure worth the price.

I use this about once a week as a conditioner, it smells lovely and lasts ages, afterwards I can see a noticeable difference in the condition of my hair, really good for the price, I prefer this one to the banana one in the same range.
