First the good points, travel friendly and nice neutral shades and cheap. And now the bad. I have never used shadows that are as dry as these, I struggled to get a decent amount of product on my brush as well so I spent ages trying to build up enough pigment. The Matt to shimmer ratio is terrible as well. I don’t know if it’s because I normally use Jeffree star eyeshadows, and used to really pigmented easy to blend shadows, and anything less I’m like... meh. I think this would be good for someone who likes simple and subtle eye looks. Buy anything more I think you’ll struggle or will take a while to get there with this

I got a brown one in an advent calendar and blew it off because I’d heard bad things about Rommel eyeshadow. When I had to start doing my makeup at/on the way to work, I packed this as it’s small and handy for travel. Having now used this, I’m loving it. The shadows are nicely pigmented and blend well. The foil shadows have amazing payoff and are blinding. There are some strange colours that seem to be matte, with glitter, but I just use them as regular mattes as the glitter blends away. I’d definitely recommend if you need a palette for travel.

Dont get me wrong I do like this palette its really nice for an everyday look but its not something that I reach out for very often.If this works for you its a great palette to travel with since its really thin and fits anywhere, this is a light plastic meaning that it will most likely smack or break easily if it fell or is dropped since mine already has tones of scratches (dont know how, dont use it very often) and i only had it for 3 months.The down side is that it doesnt have a mirror but im not to bothered since it wouldnt be big anyway due to the size of the packaging.The reason im not to keen on it is the fact that there are a lot more shimmer shades than matte shades in many of the palettes, i prefer more matte looks but you might enjoy this if you prefer shimmer looks.The matte shades are very nice and pigmented, they are soft but not buttery but also not chalky and have barely any fallout.They blend really easily into the crease and they blend really nicely into each other,overall the mattes are really nice.The shimmers dry are not pigmeneted at all, but once you wetten them they are very metalic and shimmery, some of the shadows need more work than others to be as foiled but once you get there they look lovely on the eyes.Shimmer shades dont transfer and dont go on the undereyes.These last a long , around 6-7 hours with a decent primer, over that time they will slightly crease and the shimmers will start to fade.Nice palette but its not for me you may enjoy it if you like more of a shimmery look.

I have this palette in ‘keep calm and wear gold’,I really like the warm tones golden shades in the palette.Each palette have nice specific toned shades.
The mattes are very pigmented for a palette that is from the drugstore,they are very smooth and soft but no buttery in texture.I don’t have trouble blending the shadows with each other or blending the shadows out.The mattes are very nice and easy to work with if your a beginner or a pro.
The shimmer aren’t very pigmented or foiled when applied with a dry brush or finger. It when they are wettened they are actually quite foiled not the most foiled or pigmented but they are nice for a subtle eye look.
These palettes are very nice for a natural look even to take travelling since this palette is guitar small and sleek but there isn’t a mirror,and personally for my self there are too many shimmer sphere as I prefer more matter palettes.
If you prefer a subtle shimmer look you may enjoy this!👌

I've only got this in the Spice edition, I can't speak for the other palettes (I've heard they are not the best) however this warmed toned one is supposed to be a dupe of the UD Heat palette. I grabbed it for £7 on eBay and it's incredible! The quality of these shares are just as good as many of my high end palettes (they don't smell as nice and they are powdery) but got the price it's gonna worth it.

I have the smokey edition and blush edition of these palettes, the smokey one is really nice, good pigmentation, blends nicely but the blush one has little pigmentation and goes patchy

The colours in this palette are the kind of colours I always pick and I love. Unfortunately a lot a layering is required as there is not a great deal of pigment. This palette let me down and it really is a shame as it could have been so much better.
Overall it is still useful so I would not say it is complete rubbish but be prepared to build the layers up quite a bit if you like very pigmented eye shadows.

Really nice selection of autumn/winter smoky eye colours! This was my gifts from GG and I love it! Perfect for dramatizing an everyday look or for a full smoky eye. The colours are fairly pigmented but buildable too. I found it lasted quite well and did not crease, thank you GG, I'm a happy customer!

I tried the 'London Nudes Calling' pallette which is a natural version of this. Some of the colours like the yellowy one aren't flattering. Others are nice but need a bit of layering to get the pigment. They are quite shimmery so you lose some of the colour effect. Can get a variety of day and evening looks but does crease. There are better nude palettes for a similar price.
