I was a bit nervous about using this product due to the whole 'acid' thing, cos we usually associate acid with science class and it can be pretty off-putting!
However I bit the bullet and I purchased this one, which is the lowest strength, as my skin is sensitive.
I was worried that my skin may peel, as glycolic acid is an ingredient that essentially chemically exfoliates the top layer of your skin but I haven't experienced anything like that in the days since I've been using the toner.
The only thing I experience is a slight flush to the skin, but that happens with pretty much any product I put on my face, and a little tingling at first. I've been using it twice a day and my skin has improved so much.
My skin is combo/dry, but using this in conjuction with my regular skincare has helped me get on top of the texture my skin would have. It's now so much smoother and my pores are looking a bit better too. My skin just looks so much better.
I think if you're struggling with skin texture and you're looking for a toner it's a good idea to try this one. The 2. 5 is a great place to start for beginners and myself with my sensitive skin. You will experience some tingling with it and sensitivity especially when you layer your other skincare on, in the first few days due to the type of product it is. Also because it does target the surface of your skin you will have to wear spf because it will leave your skin more sensitive to the sun.
