Generally I like these straighteners. I paid £18 for them on amazon before xmas as I was moving house and needed a cheap pair to last me until I found some better ones. I rarely straighten my hair, only my fringe usually. My hair is quite thick so it took a few more attempts than usual to do the whole head but I wasn't fussed about this. My main concern was that I frazzled a section of my hair when it was set to 235 degrees. I've had a few straighteners in my life and have never burnt my hair before. I don't know whether there was a fault and it got too hot? Since then I've always set the temperature at about 200 and haven't had a problem since. For £18 I can't really complain although I do have to be careful with the temperature.

I actually have mine from 10 years ago which I got for my 16th. I have limited edition baby pink which came with a travel case to match. They heat up so fast, and straighten hair so quickly even though I have thick hair. Mine are felt though on top and find it gets mucky. Will buy another once mine dies haha

This was my first ever straightener and l was pretty naive - I had no idea what made a 'good straightener'. I used it for about three years before someone bought me GHD's and changed my life. I realised the Babyliss one took years to heat up and centuries to straighten your hair. I have slightly thick, wavy hair and this straightener could barely handle it.

I love this product so much! My big sister lent it to me once, and I had to buy one for myself! It's so good for getting rid of frizz and making curls as well as straightening.

My GHD's broke and these were on sale in Costco for £20. To my surprise - these are better. Absolutely perfect. I have long, fine blonde hair that is almost straight. For me, the temperature control was a godsend and within five minutes my hair can be perfectly straight. In ten minutes I've got some body and curl.

This was my first ever pair of straightners and i couldn't have chosen a better introductory product! After 5 years I'm finally renewing them but they are still in brilliant condition. They heat up real quick and to a decent condition and considering i have thick hair allowed me to straighten my hair in a decent amount of time.

I have tried many hair straightners but this is by far one of the best hair straightners. I use almost everyday. It also works great for curling your hair. I love the result it gives.
