I bought this after reading many reviews and finally giving in, having felt reluctant to spend the money as it's not cheap. I've been using this for about 6 weeks and I needed to keep using it to see if I could get used to it, before writing an honest review. At first, I hated it! It was so soft that when I was moving the stick over my face, it was practically disintegrating. I realised I had to apply this really gently over my face because of the texture of the stick. But that's what makes this foundation so hydrating, it does feel very creamy and moisturising. I'd even go as far as to say it feels cool on the skin. I also hated this initially because I couldn't work out how to best apply/blend because I was getting hardly any coverage. Don't get me wrong, I didn't buy this thinking it would be medium-full coverage but I expected light at least! I used my fingers at first but this just gave me such a sheer coverage, it was like applying concealer, and not a good coverage concealer. Then I tried a foundation brush but this also blended it virtually away to nothing. After experimenting, I've now found that using a stippling brush blends the foundation out the best and gives better coverage. I've tried layering the foundation for more coverage but it just doesn't work, on me anyway. It just gets cakey. I've tried wearing this with bronzers, blushers and highlighters to see how I could get the best out of this foundation after having such high hopes for it. It takes other products on top of it pretty well but I feel like it has no real staying power and within a few hours it's pretty much disappeared! A primer doesn't improve the longevity much either. Unfortunately, it has become my lockdown look, in other words - not good enough for the outside world! A plus - It is definitely moisturising, has a creamy consistency and does just glide on, rather a bit too easily for me though. I found the shade description to be really accurate too so that's another plus!

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with dry, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is red, unknown with unknown texture.
I love bareminerals but this is an easy pass for me. It sits in pores and doesn’t last at all. It’s easy to blend and fast to apply but I much prefer the gel version.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with normal, light tone skin and green eyes. My hair is blonde, normal with fine texture.
To blend out, I really like this foundation previously I’d never of tried a foundation stick because they all look really dry and difficult to blend.
This is definitely a exception it’s not full full coverage but you can add multiple layers without it looking Caked on.
The shade range is good and pretty much matches the shades of the other bareMinerals foundations so it’s easy to find the correct colour.
I also love that it doesn’t clog my pores or anything.
The only one negative is the fact it makes such a mess in the case once used like I looked at once and it’s almost like it’s been up on full and someone has tried to put the lid back on which definitely hasn’t happened but still I’d buy it again especially in the summer.
