I tried a sample of this in shade B10, which at first I thought was too yellow toned but blended to match my neutral-cool pale skin pretty perfectly. It is a matte finish and lasts quite well. What I immediately didn't like was the smell, it is quite strong and artificial smelling and a bit medicinal/old fashioned which I am not sure I could tolerate on my face wafting round my nose for long. Perhaps also means it is unsuited to sensitive skin types. Overall would not recommend given the price.

I had a sample of this in the post. I chose B20. I found it applied well with a sponge and on first application I thought this was the perfect foundation. It looked smooth, it covered well and my other make up applied beautifully over it. I almost ordered the full bottle immediately .. now I’m glad I waited. The foundation has oxidised and has gone approximately 2 shades darker. After 6 hours of wear it looks a little heavy on my skin (my skin is normal/dehydrated). My other make up does look lovely over it however the fact I now look a little orange on one of the lightest shades has put me off. Such a shame as it was almost perfect. I will try it again tomorrow without primer or setting powder to see if that changes things - I will update my review if it does.

It is a shame. Dior does exactly the same. It looked amazing when I applied it. I will try wearing it differently tomorrow just to check if it does the same before ruling it out completely.
I had a sample in the next shade down, B10, have only tried it on my hand and like you was impressed, will have to test on face before I order now lol!
I tried a sample of this foundation in b40 (sand). I am too pale for this shade and it is too pink for my mom who has a darker complexion. So I can't say anything about skin match. The coverage is pretty good. It blends well. It has a scent that does not linger. I have combination skin and it clings and brings attention to my dry patches. It accentuates my skin texture and settles in fine lines. It feels heavy. I would not purchase this foundation because it doesn't work for my skin type

I got a sample of this as I like to test the product out before spending a lot of money on the product as this is quite pricey in my opinion.
It lasted well and is suitable for oily skin and even dry. It's smooth and can be built up for a more medium coverage as it's quite light coverage wise which is good if you don't want a heavy make up look. I may invest in this as I'm looking to try a different foundation.

I got spots right after wearing this only to find out that it has a lot of alcohol in it and my skin didn’t react to it very well. I gave it to my mum who wears it on special occasions and it gives her a very good coverage.and she has a different skin type to mine so it didn’t react the same way it did to mine.

This foundation is one of the best I've tried. It has amazing coverage and isn't to Matte or shiny. The only thing I didn't like was that it wouldn't last all day in my oily areas (t-zone)

I am completely in love with those foundation. It give you medium-full coverage depending what you on and you can build it. It looks so natural and gives you a shimmer so your skin looks gorgeous.

So I wanted a foundation which was a bit like double wear but less heavy, so I wanted to try the ysl all hours. It deffo aptly has full coverage and I love how it goes on but after a few hours it makes my skin look so oily which I do not like l.
Maybe this would be better for someone with dry skin or normal skin as I have dry and oily skin

I first tried the YSL All Hours Foundation after the lady at my local counter gave me a sample. I used it for around 2 weeks and fell in love with it so much that I had to purchase the full size. It always leaves me with such a flawless finish, lasts all day long and feels really light on the skin yet still has a lovely amount of coverage.
It has the classic ‘ysl’ foundation scent which isn’t overpowering and does fade down literally minutes after application and the packaging is really nice! I have found that it also doesn’t oxidise (this can happen sometimes with foundation depending on what products you have on your skin prior to application)
I’d definitely recommend this if you haven’t already given it a try.

This foundation has really great coverage and stays on all day without needing too many touch ups. It works really well with my dry skin and doesn’t cling to any particularly dry patches.
