I have in the past used coloured eyeliners but have always gone back to either black or brown. I liked but not love the They’re Real Eyeliner, I found I had issues with the green, blue and purple eyeliners. I wasted more on a sheet of tissue than I had put on my eye. They would release product when not in use and would break off when I applied them. When I saw that Benefit had released a new eyeliner, I couldn’t wait for my Brow Wax and Tint appointment to try it. Emma at John Lewis, Grand Central Birmingham demonstrated the purple and blue. I am glad that I tried the blue first as this is the colour and texture of and eyeliner I have been looking for. It is soft and easy to apply without having to prime it first. It glides onto my eye lids without pulling the skin. It lasts without smudging or fading. I haven’t tight lined my eyes for awhile as I have Dry Eye and MGD and some eyeliners irritate my eyes. This doesn’t and I have fallen in love with the way my eyes look once done. In the future, I will tight line my eyes with this and apply Roller Liner as my liner and try the purple, brown and black.

I am in my late 40's/early 50's with sensitive, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is grey, normal with coarse texture.
I was sent this by GlamGeek for reviewer of the week (thank you!). I really enjoyed trying out this product. I have found the pencil glides on smoothly and does not tug at my eye lids. This pencil blends easily with your fingertip of an angled eyeliner brush, so is great for a smokey eye. I also managed to create a subtle winged eyeliner. I will definitely be using this pencil regularly.

I am in my late teens/early 20's with combination, fair tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is light brown, dry with normal texture.
i think this pen is so over priced it is no better than a £5 product and it is annoying it been so thick because there are hardlyy any sharpeners that fit it just dont think its very good for the price

Nice dark colour, as some can appear grey. Unfortunately it is not very creamy and can tug at eyelids. It retails around £12 i believe however i got mine free in a magazine, glad i didnt dish out £12 for mine. If applied to the underneath of eyes it does not last long AT ALL!

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with oily, medium tone skin and green eyes. My hair is dark brown, processed with normal texture.
Doesn't seem to glide on very well (might have something to do with the thickness of the pencil) and it's quite hard to get an accurate line. Better for a bolder look but because it is so thick I have to sharpen it constantly which means it's running out quicker than any other eyeliner I've bought in the past.

I am in my mid 30's with combination, light tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is dark brown, combination with normal texture.
Was not impressed with this product for it's price and Benefits reputation! Didn't apply very well and certaintly didn't last, wasn't a strong, bold, defining colour, overall not at all impressed and not worth the money!

This eyeliner has a really good, dark pigment and it's soft texture makes applying it very easy and great for achieving smokey looks. However, because it is so soft it means that it rubs off easily and isn't ideal for everyday use.

I got it free with an issue of Glamour Magazine, and I think it's the best eyeliner I've ever used! It's nice and soft so it doesn't drag on the delicate eyelid skin, really easy to erase mistakes and the deep black pigment still managed to look nicely subtle on my fair complexion!
