Bellápierre Cosmetics Shimmer roll

I received this in my December Glossybox and used it quite heavily over the Christmas period - its champagne sparkle was perfect! It catches the light fantastically and is so shimmery that it would be a very pretty eyeshadow. I'm not a fan of the rollerball (though my step daughter thought it was the most exciting make up product ever, but she is nine and biased toward anything that sparkles). The product comes out too heavily for my liking; I wouldn't mind so much if it wanted to blend, but I found that once I applied it above my blush, it stayed in a very obvious line. It wasn't really what I wanted and took so much rubbing and brushing to make it look less extreme. I wouldn't buy it again because I'm certain that there is an easier highlighter to work with that doesn't take so long to tame, but it really isn't a terrible product - you certainly end up shimmery! Personally I think it will look great dusted over your collarbone for an evening out, but I'd recommend dipping your brush in to the powder first, as it has a habit of just sticking to where you initially applied it.

So I received this little gem in my December glossy box! At first glance I wasn’t too sure about it but once I tried it out.. wow! It’s super pigmented, love love love the colour and best of all can be used for highlighter, eyeshadow or just on you skin for extra glow. The only downfall I have is that there’s a LOT of fallout.. best off to empty out what you need before applying.. other than that I feel it’s really good!

✨I got sent this in Decembers Glossybox (side note - Decembers box was absolute garbage) with the all that glitters theme - this glitters but not in a good way! It is sooo messy, even though it come in a rollerball. The product just goes absolutely everywhere, which makes trying to apply to your face a nightmare. As I’m a big believer of not chucking things away (where possible!), I now use this by tapping out some product and using it to highlight my inner eye, although you definitely need to use a fixing spray drenched brush to ensure it stays in place. I’ll continue to use it for this purpose, but I absolutely wouldn’t buy it again as I can use an eyeshadow palette for this purpose, with a lot less messy result!

I love that this product can be used as highlight or even eyeshadow. I wouldn’t say that the glitter is too messy, but if it is being used on the eyes I’d recommend a glue or gel to hold the glitter in place. Personally I love the way that this blends out and creates a fantastic highlight look. It lasts all day and I love a good sparkle. And a bonus is that it can easily fit in your bag!

I received this in a Beauty subscription box. Unfortunately after trying to use it a few times, I have come to the conclusion that it really isn't for me. I have an issue with anything glittery that just ends up everywhere. If I can secure it down so it doesn't budge then I'm happy. I can't get this shimmer to stay put, I think it's just down to personal preference but I would not buy this.
