This has really good coverage and gives me that natural look but it doesn't have the staying power for me. My face could get the tiniest bit of water on it and it will just side off around certain areas like my nose and lip. It does also cling to my dry patches unless I moisturise really well beforehand but it isn't a bad foundation overall .

As stated this has super heavy coverage, not very suitable for dry skin as it clings even with a primer. Perfect for a night out just to cakey for day time. Did cover every blemish and freckle i own so good for some people depending on what you need it for. Is quite expensive for a small bottle.

I was introduced to illamasqua by a friend at the time my skin was really bad, I had active acne and felt quite insecure. The coverage is amazing and it gave me the super heavy coverage I needed at the time, what I would call masked on. Anyway after my skin cleared up this didn’t work for me as I didn’t need as much coverage and looked like I had painted my face, especially in pictures. This is definitely an evening foundation, a little goes a long way otherwise it will look caked on. It did oxidise after a while but I’m still looking for a foundation that doesn’t.

After previously always using one certain foundation I have branched out after looking at reviews and tried a few new ones. This one is definitely my go to foundation for every day make up. It's a fantastic coverage yet still allows my skin to breathe. I usually always buy foundations too dark for my skin, buying online is quite difficult but without a doubt I rate this a huge 5 stars and more!!!

I've been using this now for weeks and daily I receive compliments on how flawless my skin looks - this foundation is like the holy grail of foundations and i've found it finally!
Super blendable, no effort is required at all - i'd suggest using a primer with it and a beauty blender for perfect results.
Expensive but if you really want a clear, natural complexion without looking caked, this is perfect. 10 out of 10!

Recently had my make up applied by a MUA who used this foundation on me , I bought it the next week and have used it everyday since.
Coverage is great , easy to apply & blends easy. Matt finish & doesn't budge once it's set.
Lots of options when it comes to shade too.
Previously used double wear & still love that but find the application of skin base much easier.

When I manage to apply just the right amount of this foundation my skin looks perfect and flawless, however if i'm having a slightly heavy handed day or have any dry areas it cakes and gets stuck in patches and pores/feels like a mask. I use this is have plenty of time to get it right as often have to start over. Worth it when it's gone well!

I do love skin base it's absolutely fantastic for photo shoots for a heavy coverage and also day to day. It covers a lot of imperfections but.. I feel like my skin can't breathe its just a tad to heavy for my liking and unless you set it with a powder a good one it tends to smudge easy and easy to come off.. For the coverage I would definitely recommend a buy but make sure you set this with a powder.

Amazing product! sits smoothly on the skin and gives a flawless base however I feel that most high end products sits better on the face after taking a nice hot shower. I will defo buy this again!
