L'Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation

This is my favourite drugstore foundation as it is affordable and performs as good (sometimes even better) than some high-end foundations. It has medium to full coverage and natural finish, not too dewy or matt, but if anything it would lean more to matt. It does not cling to any dry patches and does not accentuate hairs or pores or anything like that (unlike some others). When I put it on I always feel like a doll, it really makes me feel flawless. It lasts a really long time even on my oily skin and wears off more naturally than others, though it does separate around my smile lines and on my chin as the time passes, but I find that completely normal. Some foundations work better when applied with brush or sponge but I think you can use whatever you want for this one. It's pretty fool-proof.

Again, another one of my favourite budget friendly foundations which I recommend to everyone. Great coverage, long lasting, good range of shades and doesn't go cakey on the skin.love love love.

I absolutely adore this foundation! I've only been wearing it for about two months and it's quickly become my go-to product, especially for those days when I want my complexion to have coverage but still look fresh. The coverage is light to medium but it definitely buildable. I have the shade 20 'Ivory' and it's a perfect match for fair skin with pink undertones. I had seen a few people on YouTube rave about this and I'm so glad I decided to get it. Application wise I prefer to use a beauty blender for a more natural look but I've found it applies just a well with a brush(just personal preference) I haven't tested out the full wear capacity of this foundation yet but the times that I have worn it I feel I have had really good makeup days and haven't noticed any major separating or patchiness. It's probably my favourite drugstore foundation to be honest. You need this in your collection!

I got this foundation in the shade Buff. It’s got a liquid texture and applies well with a foundation brush or a sponge. The coverage is medium and easily buildable. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and doesn’t go patchy. Would really recommend this foundation as it’s also so affordable and definitely worth the money!

I bought this online following all the good review I’ve read. As I ordered online I went with shade 120 Vanilla but I’d say it’s a shade too dark for me. I applied it with a damp sponge without primer and it seems to have lasted the day well. Other make up does apply beautifully on top of it. I set it with a small amount of powder. I’d say it’s a medium coverage which is buildable. It isn’t too drying on the skin but I’d say it’s a matte finish. I think if I had bought the lighter shade I would love it more but for the price it’s beautiful for a daytime foundation.

This is more of a runny liquid that glides on and blends beautifully. It looks like skin, and feels really lightweight. I would say it is a medium coverage. It's not matte, but not overly dewy either, and lasted all day on my oily skin. After a few hours my oils did come through, but the foundation didn't break up or crease, and still looked beautiful and skinlike.

I've been using this on and off for a few years, sometimes there's 2 for £12 offers on at Superdrug or boots. It's a good colour (I use porcelain) and is high coverage. It doesn't oxidize, and stays true to it colour all day. It's quite strong smelling, but I actually like it!

I was going to buy this a year ago when YouTubers were raving about this but the smell put me off. It's highly fragranced and it isn't a particularly feminine smell scent to me. However, when testing it in store I loved how lightweight it felt so I thought I would give it a go. Luckily the smell doesn't linger for too long. For me this isn't a full coverage foundation but it is a good, solid medium coverage - perfect for everyday. On my combination skin it is a satin finish, neither dewy not matte so I think this will appeal to lots of people. It lasts 8-10 hours on me, which is miraculous. I don't like the inclusion of alcohol in it but it doesn't seem to dry out my skin.

so I brought this foundation a while ago.... then lockdown happened and I haven't been reaching for much make up at all and when I saw this sitting there on my vanity... I decided to make my self up. now from what I use to remember I really liked this foundation even though it didn't stay on my face all day. now when I put it on.... it really doesn't sit on my face very well at all Fromm first application. I don't know what's happened or what I'm doing wrong. but I tried twice. I wiped away the first attempt...then went in with the second and it still just didn't sit right...I had to get it off my face straight away. it isn't even full coverage...for me anyways it goes patchy and rubs off easily. no idea what's happened so unfortunately this foundation is a no from me and I won't be repurchasing.
