Perfect for the price. Lovely little wand and super black stays put. Couldn't ask for a better one in this price range. Pit fall is the packaging for me looks like it should be in a teens make up set.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with combination, light tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is blonde, processed with normal texture.
There are some good things about this mascara, it is very black, it can provide some length (with considerable building), and it is definitely waterproof. However, I found the formula quite wet and therefore messy to apply (cotton buds at the ready!). I saw no noticeable volume and getting length took too long. I think it would be good for 'no makeup makeup' looks and possibly as a starter mascara for young girls. I might try it as a waterproofing topcoat, that might work as it won't effect the look of the other mascara because it doesn't do much!

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with oily, fair tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is dark brown, oily with fine texture.
For me this mascara isn't volumising enough or lengthening enough for my upper lashes, but it makes a perfect natural lash look for my lower lashes. It is incredibly waterproof and can be quite difficult to remove, but it is worth it if it means my lower lash line won't smudge everywhere

I love this mascara truly, but it has its cons. I find it very easy to build upon and gives a true pitch black colour, and it's extremely waterproof. I found that the longer I had this product, it would dry out and then easily fall on to my lower lash line which I find extremely annoying. I would buy it again, Maybelline mascaras never fail <3

my all time favourite holy grail mascara!! gives me so much length and volume (especially when you curl your eyelashes beforehand)!! it can become a bit clunky when you first apply it but just try and even it out with a spooly!! 10000% recommend!!

Lovely mascara, slight clumping but can be resolved using a clean old mascara wand. A full dramatic eye look, lengthening the lashes, however there are other mascaras that I prefer to use on a daily basis so I will most likely not be repurchasing this product when it runs out. I feel that many people would love this mascara though! It's definitely worth the try.

Great effect on lashes! Gives a lengthened and thickened finish without clumping or smudging. However you have to apply multiple times to get this look.
