Still not entirely convinced about this brand, cheap enough that it’s worth a try but I’m yet to find something I really love. This cream stings your skin so use very sparingly, not more than once a week, in my opinion. Remember to wear sunscreen everyday as they kind of creams make your skin more sensitive

I am in my mid 30's with oily, brown tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is dark brown, dry with coarse texture.
I had great expectations from this one as I've heard a lot of great things about it, but it left me so disappointed. The texture of it is so gritty and annoying on the skin, the grittiness just doesn't go away no matter how much you try to rub it in or how long you wait. It caused my other products to pill as it doesn't get absorbed despite waiting 15 mins to use other stuff. It makes my face look oily and unclean which is definitely not a look I like. I've been using it since 3 weeks now but I can't notice any exceptional results which would justify putting up with the flaws of this product.

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with combination, tanned tone skin and brown eyes. My hair is medium brown, dry with normal texture.
I enjoy what this does for my skin, I feel it really brightens it and it doesn’t cause me to break out... the thing is it dyes my hands bright orange! It looks and smells like I have used fake tan and takes a few days to get rid of the tinge. No matter how much I wash my hands following application this happens. For that reason this is a definite no for me.

✨I’ve been looking for an acid based moisturiser and thought I’d give this a go as I already love The Ordinary products. It is very strange - it has gritty pieces in it (which I’m not sure why) and doesn’t really rub into the skin that well. It does not provide a good base to apply makeup, as the texture of the skin still feels gritty after application. That being said, it did smooth out during the day and my face does feel soft and hydrated. The price tag of £5 is what drew me to it so cheap enough to either carry on with or discard, but not for you if you’re not a fan of the grittiness.

Try mixing it with a water-based serum to get rid of some of the grittiness (which is actually the Vit C). It wasn't the grittiness that got to me as much as the greasiness. I'm using mine up on my body - couldn't get on with this at all :(

I bought this because it was cheap (had previously been using The Hero Project Vit C 30). But this is just one Ordinary product I couldn't get on with. It's just so gritty and greasy. I tried mixing it with other serums to take the grittiness away but it just didn't mix well. The results were okay the next morning but not good enough to tolerate the gritty/oily feeling so I went back to the more expensive (but 100 times nicer) Hero Project. I'm using this up on my body, but it's still greasy and doesn't sink in well at all.

I have almost finished my Vitamin C tube which I got in March. I don't use it every day but I've found it makes a real difference to my skin. You do not need a lot - I use it straight after one of the other Ordinary serums otherwise, as per the review below, it does start to cause pilling. It's a powdery consistency on application and, I thought, quite similar to Dr Perricone's Ester 15, however this is an absolute steal price wise at under a fiver. Once on, your skin is brightened and feels soft to the touch. It also has a very pleasant smell. Will be re-ordering. Absolutely love it!

I bought a few products from this brand after hearing amazing things online regarding the quality to price ratio. But I was disappointed. On the brand's site it states this product is formulated to have the highest impact on the skin. However, I found it gritty, leaving a very greasy residue that just did not seem to absorb. Up to 3 of the brands skincare products could be used at any one time for optimal results, however, I experienced a lot of pilling due to this product. Vitamin B is supposed to brighten skin complexion, after 2 weeks I had to stop as I saw no impact and more spots :(

Brighten the appearance of your skin and improve your complexion with the The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres, formulated to provide extensive moisture levels and promote younger-looking, smoother skin. Formulated using a concentration of 23% L-ascorbic acid, which is vitamin C in its pure form, it remains completely stable and, therefore, more effective. This helps to protect the skin from the effects of aging and promotes collagen production, leaving skin appearing firmer and plumper. Vitamin C also works as a powerful antioxidant, helping to protect your skin from the damaging effects of environmental stressors. Spheres of 2% hyaluronic acid work to enhance the moisture content of your skin, leaving it radiant and hydrated. This can also help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The 30ml suspension is formulated using cruelty-free, vegan-friendly ingredients. It is water, silicone, alcohol, nut, gluten and oil-free. For best results, use a small amount in the evening after cleansing. Massage in well. Avoid contact with the eyes. A slight tingling sensation may be experienced when you first start using the suspension. This is normal.
