Balance Me Congested Skin Serum

I use this when I my skin has broke out I sometimes just apply to a spot aswell and it always seems to clear my skin up have repurchased this multiple times.

I received this product in a beauty subscription box. Packaging is pretty basic and price point wise it is of an average price. The consistency of the product is very liquidy and a little really does go a long way. The first thing I did notice was the scent of it. The scent is like lemon sherbet which is quite strong and can be overpowering. I didn’t mind it but it’s something to bare in mind. I used it in both my morning and night skincare routines, after cleansing & prior to applying moisturiser. I found this to be soothing on any blemishes I have. My skin type is dry & sensitive. This product didn’t dry my skin out at all & in regards to my sensitive skin i thought due to the strong ish scent it would irritate my skin but it didn’t at all or cause any adverse reactions. It’s really cooling on the skin and made my skin feel so much more refreshed. Apparently this product can be used over makeup but it isn’t something I would use over my makeup personally. This product does contain hero ingredients. Kanuka which is a powerful anti-microbial & anti-bacterial oil which is said to clear congestion and it really does clear it. Moringa which is a light oil full of Omega-9 fatty acids with anti-microbial properties & the oil didn’t make my face feel greasy or oily, in fact it put a bit more hydration back into my dry, dehydrated skin. Eucalyptus which calms redness & inflammation without causing dryness or irritation and I totally agree with that. Overall I did really enjoy using this product. I would recommend it but if your sensitive to smell then it’s maybe not the product for you. I would also consider repurchasing it in the future.

I quite like this product and think it’s pretty good. It wouldn’t be something I’d rush out and but though if I ran out. I can see why this has mixed reviews. If you don’t like ginger, don’t buy this.

I don’t have a problem with spots, so I gave it to my 14-year-old son who has a spotty forehead which he doesn’t like. He applied to his forehead morning an evening after washing his face. The sample size gave him enough for a week and in that week he noticed a huge improvement in his spots. He didn’t get any more and those he had were at first less red and sore, gone by the end of the week. He would re-purchase this as this is the first product that has helped him with his spots. More importantly he liked using it as it was an invisible gel that he could applied directly on his spots individually or all over his forehead, his friends didn’t notice he was using a spot cream and when you are a 14-year-old that is so important.

I had a sample of this in a Birchbox and instantly repurchased, this is a wonder serum and it smells amazing. I tend to use this every other day all over face and if I have breakouts it’s a perfect treatment on affected areas. My skin looks clearer in a few hours and redness and swelling reduced. This product is my go to now whenever I have a breakout and I will keep purchasing until something better comes along!

This soothing serum works to balance skin and refine pores. I smooth on a thin layer on the affected acne prone areas before i apply moisturiser. This Serum is designed to fight spots, without causing irritation or dryness.

I like that it uses natural ingredients and comes in a handy pump dispenser. It has a strong smell but I like it it is almost woody. However it did nothing to help clear my spots or stop new ones forming and so I won't be buying it again.

I agree that this serum has quite a strong smell, however this doesn't bother me as I like a natural plant aroma. However, as soon as you apply it all over your skin, you will instantly feel your skin softer and more even. It's quite runny but absorbs well and a little goes a long way. I would recommend.

This serum is very strong smelling. It does its job, but I use it to spot treat rather than use on my whole face because the scent is so strong. It's a good product, but not my favourite.
