This brush is good with powder and blusher. The bristles are natural hair, which i don't find as soft as synthetic bristles. I used this with the Original Bare Minerals powder foundation but I prefer a full coverage to the light to medium coverage that this brush gives.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with combination, fair tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is red, dry with fine texture.
This brush starts out ok, but after some use/washes it doesn’t feel soft at all and it sheds a lot of hairs. There are so many nicer (cheaper!) brushes out there, avoid this one.

I got this In a set with my foundation when I liked it at first but after a few us her the bristles started falling out regularly. It's washes badly and I even bought the Brush cleanser that goes with it and it just made the bristles go scratchy. My real techniques is a dream compared to this and cheaper.

I had this bought for me as a gift. I had never used any of the bareminerals brushes before but had a few recommendations to try them! At first I thought (oh no black handle) I'm bound to get this covered in foundation and power... pleasantly surprised my brush doesn't seem to get dirty at all. I personally love this brush my favourite purpose is to use it with powder and finishing touches I would not recommend using it with any liquids or foundations! It's a soft and supple brush and leaves a glowing finish well worth it

When I bought this brush I though it would be great for a brush that could do my foundation, bronzer and powder in one although as I started to apply my foundation I felt like it was smearing and 4 brush hairs were left on my forehead. This may just be my brush but this has put me off using their products now.

Really awful! It sheds everywhere, I hate it so much that I don't even have it with my other brushes. I asked at my nearby bare minerals counter about it wondering if I had a dud brush and was told that this is what they are like. I don't want to have to dust my face after use to get rid of brush hairs!

I got this in a get started kit, so I have a mini one. I don't like the feel of it, its very spiky and leaves my skin slightly sore if I use it for a long time. It does work well for compact powders in my opinion, but I feel that the 'beautiful finish' is better for powders like the bareMinerals original foundation powder, and gives you more coverage, although it is quite expensive.

Not too pricey for such a soft brush, feels amazing on the skin. I have this in full size and mini and both are excellent. Nice simple design and blends makeup amazingly. One downside might be that because the brush is black it attracts dirt and dust but that is out of anyone's control. Would definitely recommend.
