I am an experienced self-tanner. I have Bondi Sands tanning products to be some of the best. I was excited when I saw this launch as their other tanning foams require quite a lot of "marinating" time! The express tan is easy to apply with a mitt and I kept mine on for about 3 hours. When I washed it off I had lovely natural colour and it really was express - as someone who works full time and doesn't like to sleep in fake tan its perfect. My only reservation is I like a deep dark tan and this is more on the natural side but for everyday tanning its great!

It’s taken me a while to write this review because I have never used a fake tan before and wanted to make sure I got it right. Therefore I had to get some mitts and put time aside for thorough hair removal and exfoliation. I was pleasantly surprised by the results because I was terrified at first being so pale and inexperienced. The result was quite a light and even tan (I left on for 1h after reading other reviews).

I love Bondi sands and they are fast becoming my go to product. I was advised to give it at least an hour before washing off and I'm glad I listened.... even if I was slightly scared by the colour when applying! Left a lovely colour and really happy with the result. Would highly recommend and suggest using a mitt to apply

The foam is coloured which helps you to know where you have put it but my husband still laughed at me as I had applied it so badly with lots of streaks etc! However once the tan was washed off it was streak free and natural looking.I applied it with a mitt and wandered about the house in a old dressing gown. Even after 45mins my skin was still a bit tacky feeling and anything I touched was left stained so old clothes are a must and don't go near sofas! Overall I liked the effect of the tan, it didn't smell bad and looked nice but I did need to be careful what I touched
while it was on.

Very pleased with results from this product, even tan no streaking. I left this product on for two hours before showering off. Nice even color skin feels really soft. Usuing the tanning mitt gives an even color and so easy to use. Will Definetely use again to obtain a darker colour and will use again in a weeks time. Have not used this product before so I am really pleased with results and would recommend to my friends.

I tried this as soon as I received it but only left it on for 30 minutes the first time because it turned me a bit grey and I panicked. So after washing off there was a very light natural looking tan (not grey!) and the usual streaking on my knees. I took it on holiday with me and left it on for over an hour (after exfoliating properly!) and this time the results were much better! It definitely takes a couple of tries to feel confident in application. The smell is lovely and it's very easy to apply but I think I prefer the Bondi Sands tanning oil.

I think there must have been user error somewhere... I left the product on for almost 2 hours and it completely washed away into nothing! I do love the smell and consistency of it, but I was disappointed with the lack of payoff, particularly when the foam itself looks like it will make a good dark tan. I'll try again and leave it on for 4 hours, but if it only gives a very light tan then, I don't think it's worth the time. Garnier have a gradual self tanning moisturiser which gives me a better effect in 5 minutes. Please someone let me know if I'm doing something wrong, I want this to work!!

I was excited to try this self tan as I've always had great experiences with Bondi - After applying it and waiting an hour I showered and found that the tan was noticeable however not that dark. I thought I'd try it again for 2-3 hours as it says on the tin it gives a very dark appearance, however again while the tan is visible it didn't go as dark as I would of hoped. Its a nice natural light tan and the smell as always with Bondi sands is wonderful, however I've founds some of their other products much more effective and less effort so for that reason I probably wouldn't purchase.

I feel really conflicted about this product. It smells divine, it’s so easy to apply and it is quick and streak free. I was a little terrified after applying and it leaving a very green tinge to my ghostly pale skin so I decided to leave it on for just the 30 minutes. After rinsing it was still very dark and a strange colour so I lightly soaped my skin. What I’ve been left with is a lovely light golden tan which is not streaky and has lasted well with no patchiness. I feel that this was hard work for an express tan though and I love their liquid gold much more.

I've tried all Bondi Sands products an i found this the easiest and most practical to use. Don't be alarmed by the colour when applying, or it looking streaky, this is not the colour you will be left with. It dries in seconds which was the real game changer for me, I hate feeling sticky after applying even when they say quick drying. I'm winter pale, 1/2 an hour was not long enough, 1 hour left a light golden tan not "deep", and 1.5 hours left me with a golden tan. It carried on developing overnight and lasted 7 days before going patchy. Use moisturiser on winter dry areas before applying.
