Perfect for setting under eyes. Not cakey but sets makeup for a long time. Brightens under eyes but not white. Purchased a few years ago and only just gone through the mini powder despite using everyday.

Okay for some reason my image isn't being posted, the new ad thing at the top of the page is also getting in the way and the page keeps refreshing when I'm trying to retype.

But basically, don't use Calamine lotion as a primer, it can potentially cause permanent damage to the skin after continued use.

It will dry out the skin severely and contains zinc which is an astringent and the high pH will break down the skin barrier. It was designed as a pharmaceutical product for short term use for things such as chicken pocks so using it as a primer which will be quite frequent will do a lot of damage and will take a long time to potentially fix the skin.

Zinc in products like sunscreen is okay though, they are completely different concentrations. Calamine lotion was not designed to be a cosmetic product, it is very potent.

Pretty much ever type of skincare product has some form of ingredient which helps to create a barrier to help the skin barrier, its essential to protect it to have healthy skin. Hoping this information helps, I'm still learning a lot myself.

Extremely impressed!

This is the first niacinamide product I have ever tried, I've always heard about it but I've never seen it in around when just browsing in shops in general. I found this one in Tesco and thought, I really need to try this. It states on the packaging "Instant visible results" which is a bold claim to make. After a few minutes on first application, I was actually amazed that the redness of my skin had gone down, leaving a more even appearance to my skin tone. It is recommended for better results that the Simple 3% Hyaluronic Acid + B5 serum is used before hand, which I dont have but I have been more...using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 before hand and its really working a treat. I love skin care and over time most skincare I have tried has been great, I mean one of the most important things for keeping youthful skin is to keep it protected by not only wearing spf, but creating a barrier as well as keeping it hydrated, which most creams offer, but this really made a huge difference to the redness I get to my skin. I would highly recommend this if you get an uneven skin tone or pigmentation, I've never tried niacinamide until now and it will forever be a part of my weekly skincare routine.

Holy grail product

I bought this from Selfridges and fell in love. I love how this product isn't too intense but you can work with the product to make it as intense as you like. The highlight is amazing you are just glowing. The blusher shades are nice too and blend nicely even if u mix the colours they look amazing. All in all a must have for your collection .

Bought and tried a Niacinamide product for the first time yesterday and today, so far I'm absolutely loving it, really noticed the difference straight away using it after The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 followed by the Filgora Time Filler Moisturiser! I'll review once I've used it for longer.

I passed my exams and will be going into my final year next year in Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science! 💜 So happy!
