Cohorted Beauty Box

I have been receiving this box for six months now, it has recently gone up in price but i dont feel the value has increased since the £5 price rise so consider if you feel the products are worth what is quite a high price for a beauty box at £39.99. In my opinion this is a great box when they are focusing on skin care which is always high quality and cruelty free so you can indulge in guilt-free pampering. It always has predominantly full sized products such as "Monuskin", "Bali Balm", and "Herbal Dynamics" so you can give the products a proper trial to see if they are right for you. On the months they do a make up box i am not so keen as I find for me there are other less expensive boxes out there that offer better value for money on the makeup side (at time of writing you could get glossybox,look fantastic, and birchbox for less money than this one box if you use easy to find discounts), and i think its easier to put skin care in that appeals to loads of people than it is to find shades of makeup that will suit everyone. The subscription is not as flexible as other boxes, so although you can skip a month, you cant watch an unboxing you fancy and subscribe to get that box as you have to pay a month in advance. On the 2 occasions i have had to contact customer service, they have really let the company down with blanket emails that do not address the issues raised. In summery i do enjoy this box most months, but am in two minds as to whether it is really worth the price tag every month. This for me is falling towards the probably not side when the company's numerous mistakes are taken into account (missing products, late boxes, old stock etc) which are well documented on YouTube unboxings, its a great shame as when its good its really good but unfortunatly seems very badly run with no respect for its customers which in the ever competative beauty box market is simply not good enough.
