I couldn’t even review this product properly because the smell that comes off it is so overbearingly bad I had to instantly wipe it off my face. It smells like chemicals mixed with potpourri. The texture is a thick orange gel but other than that I would say if you’re even slightly sensitive to smell then you should avoid this. I feel bad as this was my first experience with Elizabeth Arden products and unfortunately it has completely put me off the brand. Maybe it was just a bad batch but I won’t be rushing out to buy a replacement.

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with combination, fair tone skin and blue eyes. My hair is red, normal with fine texture.
Ok, I got a free sample of it too.
Maybe it is very moisturising, I don't know... But I find scent no pleasant at all. It reminds me a tar. I asked opinion from my bf. He said it smells like some chemical, like oil.
Definitely I wouldn't buy it.

I received a free sample of this cream and I have to say that I’m rushing off to buy the real thing! I absolutely love its versatility. It feels great on and is really moisturising. Definitely a must-have product!

I can not rave enough about this product. This is my go to product during winter times. Wether its chapped lips, cracked heels or dry cuticles. This cream is a solution for all these problems.

This is a great moisturiser especially for problem areas. I suffer from dry lips no matter how much water I drink or what I use! This is the only product I've found that does anything to help my lips.

For my older clients (45 - 70) I know I can rely on this product. Easy to work with as a perfect moisturiser base super easy to blend foundation on top. Grants skin a healthy glow, non greasy or creasing. The after effects are revitalised and younger looking skin.

I read all the good reviews and took the splurge. It is a nice moisturiser. It moisturises but thats all i can say i didnt notice anything different. I have really bad rosacea which is nice it did not aggitate it further. My mum on the other hand likes it and notices it helps her with her wrinkles. I think it's one where it works great for some people and not for others.

Although the smell of this is somewhat offputting once you get used to it you don’t mind having it on your face. The results after using this product are incredible, my skin felt so nourished after the first use

I least have some of this in my collection! It's amazing for dry patches, lips, sore areas! I can't imagine anybody using all over the face though!! It it really thick and sticky and smells a lot like insect repellent but it is a miracle worker!

This is amazing for dry skin. Within 1 week of using my dry skin on my face had practically gone. You genuinely can feel it working miracles as its on your face! However, it's not the nicest of smells, and it's not the type of moisturiser you can wear before you go out, it's sticks out as really shiny, so it's best to use before bedtime!

This fragrance free version of the legendary skincare classic works wonders to moisturise and protect anytime, anyway you choose. Shape brows, revitalise shine, soothe dry hands and smooth cuticles and nails. Also for symptoms of chapping, peeling or flaking due to minor burns, sunburn, windburn, scrapes, abrasions or cracked lips. No wonder Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant Lightly Scented, is loved by makeup artists all around the world. Benefits: - Helps protect, soothe and moisturise skin. - Soothes dry skin and provides anti-inflammatory benefits. - Soothes and comforts minor weather burns, scrapes and abrasions. The Legend Created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective is a combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E. The apricot coloured balm was so beneficial to her clients, Miss Arden used it to soothe her famous thoroughbred horses' legs. Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance - a loyal client used it to treat her child's skinned knee and eight hours later the skin was all better. *Please note Elizabeth Arden is currently in the process of updating their packaging.
