I have this in undress 647 and I’m not too impressed with some of the shades for the price. The iconic layout of these 5 eyeshadows is still the same, yet it seems to have shrunk down and looks very small in my hand. You don’t get much product for the price. The palette itself is bigger though, with a generous sized mirror, but that’s only to accommodate the two cheap foam sponge applicators (one is tipped with a sad wispy brush). Nobody ever uses these, not even in a emergency. The peachy pink and ivory shadows are a huge disappointment. The shades have no colour payoff at all. Maybe they’d look good on darker skin tones, but on my lighter skin, I might as well be applying fresh air to my lids. These two shades are a little more chalky. They are really so poor, I consider this a three shadow palette. So that’s the bad news out-of-the-way, the good news is that the other three shades are beautiful.Dior’s eyeshadows have always been strongly pigmented and these cool brown tones are no exception. My favourite shade is the beautiful dark brown one. It’s a strong colour (looks a tiny bit shimmery, but it isn’t on the eye) and a little goes a long way. I use this for the outer corners of my eyes and the tiniest amount on the crease. Admittedly, it does kick off a bit of dust in the pan, but it’s worth it for the colour and the intensity. It was an expensive mistake at £47.50 for three eyeshadows – £15.00 per eyeshadow which is expensive! But, those three eyeshadows are perfection. These shades have restored my faith in Dior eyeshadows quality, smoothness of application, longevity and non creasing. I do love this but it’s to expensive for only 3 good shadows.

I am in my late teens/early 20's with combination, tanned tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is blonde, normal with normal texture.
Got this palette in smokey 008, it was great for teaching me how to do a smokey eye, the colours and pigment were perfect (I have really bad dark circles all around my eye so colours never turn out quite right on me). My only criticism is that the construction of the palette was a bit off. I have never dropped this but for some reason the middle colour just fell out one day, two of them fell out of my friend's one as well..?

I bought the 5 Couleurs Splendor in 776 Precious Embroiderey at Xmas from Debenhams, it was part of Diors Xmas 2016 collection but is still avail to buy from Harrods online and Escentuals. Highly pigmented colours with good staying powder, blendable, buildable and very useable for a day or night look. I've been using it to create a daytime smokey eye and the colours compliment each other well which I find doesn't happen often in small palettes. There is no fall out, and being highly pigmented it lasts all day, which is exactly what you want for a £42 price tag. Luxury shadow at its best.

Pricey but oh so worth it, love that the colours are so easy to apply and that they blend beautifully and last all day long. Also love the colours and that there are variable shades to go from daytime to night glamour. The brushes are great for blending and smudging the darkest shade as an eyeliner too, love multi purpose makeup!

The pigmentation is amazing, application is smooth and this stays on your eyes all day long. I work a full-time job and put thi son in the morning and by the time I return home it still looks the same as when I put it on. The compact packaging is def a plus! - Recommend!

I got this as a tester product from Dior and I love it, the colours blend so well and the pigments are brilliant. The colours pop and make your eyes stand out and look bold. It is worth the price but at the same time I feel like it is a bit more on the expensive side for the amount of eyeshadow you actually get. But otherwise it's an amazing product

In my opinion this is really hard to blend or either leave a harsh line , not worth the money very pigmented don't get me wrong but really don't like how they feel on my eyes. Also had a really bad reaction to this.

I got this as a tester from Dior but you need hardly anything as all the colours in the palette are the same on your eye lid, they really pop and are easily blendable.

This eyeshadow is perfect for mature skin, as with all products it's hard to review As what is good for mature eyes may not be for young eyes. But with only slight sheen and they don't crease they are a make up must for over 30's!!
