This was one of the products from the Summer Vibes Kit from MAC only available at Boots. I am very wary of wearing eye shadows – the drop off getting into my eyes as they can irritate my eyes. I was also worried hat as a woman of a certain age shimmery eye shadows on hooded eyes might not work. I was wrong. It can be swiped over as a single colour, or you can build the intensity of the colour to create a smoky eye. It can also be used in the centre of the upper eye lid to provide highlight when used with matte shadows. It can be applied using fingers or brushes depending on what finish and look you are wanting to create.

i have carbon which is such an incredible black, its buildable and it is such an intense black, i have nylon which is a nice vanilla highlighter it is such a nice inner corner highlight, these eyeshadows blend well, last long, i used to have sable a few years ago and that was a nice satin brown and i enjoyed using that when doing a bronze smokey eye, i like these eyeshadows and will pick up a few more when i can

I have a MAC single eyeshadow in the shade name “Dance Flowers Dance”. I really like the packaging and price point wise it is on the more expensive side. The shade I have is a lilac/champagne duochrome and it’s a stunning shade. It’s a shimmer shade and it swatches really well. It applies very well with or without an eye primer, with an eye primer the shade pops that bit more. It blends so well and stays put for hours. This shade can also be used as a highlighter as well really in my opinion. I definitely recommend MAC single eyeshadows however I’m very unsure if I would repurchase due to the cost of them!

Use this basically everyday...

I feel like with so many other brands on the market no one every really talks about MAC anymore, however I still love their products as I think they are amazing and are a bit more on the expensive side😬 but now compared to a lot of other high end brands their prices are not to bad, some are reasonable as the quality is definitely there🤩. These eyeshadow shades come in their standard mac compact packaging with the clear top to see their colours, and the shade name is at the bottom. These click shut and I never found them to open by themselves, they are also a little chunky but I have no problem storing them👍. These are very nice and pigmented, I dip in once or twice to get the pigmentation I want. They blend seemlessly out and into other shades. I use the shades Omega, Royal Rendenvous, sandstone, cozy grey or cork on a daily basis just in the crease with a simple shimmer shade and I call it a day😁. They stay on the eyes and don’t budge. When applying i also don’t get fallout on the eyes and sometimes a tiny but in the pan but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had the shade cozy grey for around a year now and I’ve made a small indent in it even though I used to use it like every day. Overall I would definetly recommend as they are stunning and work great for me. ❤️

Mac eyeshadows are great as always, they are very pigmented & last all day long (depending on eye primer). My favourite shade from all the eyeshadows is “woodwinked”. This is the perfect everyday shade. It’s so beautiful & almost has an orange undertone. I use this all over the lid & when I blend the outer part of my eye, it almost turns into another burnt orange colour. So amazing highly recommend!

Just started using this MAC eyeshadow in the shade Nylon! It’s so pretty! Not only is it perfect as a white base for your eyeshadow, it can be used as a brow bone highlight and for your inner corner of your eyes because it is such a pretty shimmery white shadow! Would definitely recommend!its definitely long wearing, pigmented and easy to apply

I’ve owned a fair few of these in my time and I love them. The colour range is fantastic and you can always find something a bit different. My favourite is ‘Club’ which is kind of a brown/dark grey with a holographic green/purple shimmer. Like oil in water. It is amazing over black eyeliner. There are many finishes and I have noticed some fall out depending on this. The lustre shadows work better with a primer because they are quite chunky in glitter. Even though each finish is different to work with, I totally recommend these shadows and I keep going back for more.

I have this in the shade 'cranberry' and I love it. It took me a while to get my hands on it at my local store so it must be fairly popular. They are pigmented and blend easily and are not over priced. It my favourite shade for Autumn/Winter.

Great product. Easy to apply, the colour doesn't change and blends really well. The staying power of the eye shadows are the best on the market - you won't buy any better.

I was looking for a peach type shade eyeshadow ready for spring. I decided to try out MAC as I actually didn't own or hadn't tried any of their pressed eyeshadows. I have the shade 'Paradisco' and it's great, it lasted all day! It is not overly pigmented but at the same time it is buildable so it is easy to manage without overdoing it on the eyes and ruining the look, what ever it is you are trying to achieve. I think this is a beautiful shade for spring and I would recommend this shade overall as it is beautiful and I am looking forward to trying out some of the other shades MAC has to offer!
