I use this after the MAC Lip Scrubtious. I get dry lips and it is a great base to smooth out lips before applying lipstick. I've read reviews saying that it is just an expensive lip balm however I do not agree. If I use lip balm before lipstick, it is too slippy and so the lipstick doesn't hold well. I have found that you need to let this product 'dry' for a few minutes before lipstick application, you can tell that it is ready by a slight tacky feeling. One down side is that the stick broke off after only a couple of uses and I wasn't necessarily being heavy handed! Easily fixed but annoying!

Hydrates my lips but doesn't really help my lipstick whatsoever. The smell is really weird so I will no be purchasing this again for sure

Amazing staying power and stops the lipstick making your lips dry and prevents them cracking however topshop do an amazing dupe that pretty much does exactly the same for a lot cheaper, so that will be where I'm going in future

If you're planning a long day out, and you want to keep your lips in tact even if you're wearing a market store lipstick, this is the primer for you. You will come home to full lips without a trace gone. It makes cheap lipstick look good.

Love this primer! I have one in almost every handbag and makeup case I own! It goes on so smooth and keeps my lipstick on for so much longer than it usually would. Makes cheap lipsticks look expensive. LOVE

Very shiny but makes my lipstick last ages! You have to wait a couple of seconds before you add lipstick though

Great lip primer. Makes the cheapest of lipsticks look expensive and great for matte lipsticks which can be very drying. I wouldn't put lipstick on without it now.

Now that I've discovered lip primer, I wouldn't be without it, and this is my favourite one. Applying this before lipstick ensures there are no unsightly dry bits and really makes the most of the colour, essential if using a matte lipstick. This keeps my lips so smooth and my lipstick has never looked better. Wait a minute after applying before putting on lipstick.

After using this for just three days, any rough patches were soon smoothed out to a smooth, shiny base, perfect for applying lipstick. When applying this, the lips then feel quite grease, so it's best to wait a while to apply any other lip products. On a whole this is a gorgeous product, especially good for moisturising the lips.
