As a nurse working long hours in a hospital which can be really drying on the skin, I love this cream!
It’s lightly fragranced and quite thick when applied but as soon as it’s worked into the face it’s light and beautifully smooth leaving a glowy, hydrated finish! Yes, it is an expensive product but if you fancy treating yourself girls then I would recommend this cream! Also goes lovely under makeup and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated throughout my shift.

I am in my late 20's/early 30's with combination, fair tone skin and green eyes. My hair is medium brown, normal with normal texture.
I tried this product an I just don’t see how it is different to any other creams, I wouldn’t say it stood out in any way, just shows companies can charge ridiculous amounts for something just because of the brand name even if it’s not a great product!

my skin was really suffering during this lockdown and really started to flare up and I didn't know why. I tried everything to a new skin care routine, going make up free and even applying sudocrem to them. nothing was working until after trying this. I didn't buy it to help with my skin I got it as a sample size and i've really seen a difference in my skins appearance and texture. all my blemishes have vanished and the bumps under my skin has all smoothed out. I defo will be purchase a full size one of these as I think this cream is now going to be permanently in my collection. I love it! I can't fault it at all as it has 100% helped my skin!

Nothing Magic about this "magic cream"
One thing Charlotte tilbury does well, is marketing. She doesn't scrimp on marketing and knows how to market her products to make them sound unreal.
The way they big up this Magic cream, like it's some magic in a bottle that you NEED to apply before your makeup.
Is bull crap.
Sadly I drank the kool aid and fell for it.
Not only did I buy the magic dreams skin care set. Which had the night cream in a small size (far too oily and super thick, which I'm going to review separately) but also a full size of the Magic cream. I also bought the youth star set which had youth glow and a small size of Magic cream. So I have it in small size and the big full size jar of it. Which both have whooping extortionate price tags on them.

And I'm sad to say, neither are worth the money.
Firstly when I opened the jar and smelt it. My first reaction was "it smells like some old floral cream your gran would wear back in the 90's"
After you get past the smell, the cream itself is very thick.
And although it does absorb quickly into the skin, it is quite oily. Perfect if you have really dry skin like myself. Maybe not so if your an oily gal.
Doesn't do much for the skin overall. For the same price you can get votary super seed nutrient cream which is FAR SUPERIOR or Omorovicza illuminating moisturiser.
I think it's just average. Nothing special.
I'd repurchase if the price was A LOT LOWER.
But at today's price, I'd sadly never recommend anyone to buy it.
Don't fall for the marketing campaign like I did. Save your cash 💰

I wanted to see what was so magical about this cream I heard so much about so I bought a travel mini size which is 15 ml for £27! The priciest cream I have ever bought I think. The packaging is lovely and has a vintage vibe as do most of Charlotte Tilburys products. The cream is quite thick and doesn’t smooth on very easily. It has a nice fragrance which isn’t too strong and I like that the cream is a moisturiser, primer and spf all in one. It saves a few steps in my make up routine but I didn’t think the cream was that special. If you have the money then that’s great but if you don’t then there are dupes which will work the same. Personally I won’t be rebuying this product.

I’ve tried & tried with this but it just doesn’t work for me, makes my t zone too oily & doesn’t hydrate my dry forehead enough. Make up slips off without & with various primers. Nothing magical about this for me.

Sits on the skin rather then hydrating the skin. I have applied too close to my eyes and made my eyes sting. There are better face creams natural and organic that will change your skin. This cream is not magic at all.

I think the cream is very good, but I cannot say that it is good enough for the price at all. I'm sure there are many other creams of the market similar, but much cheaper.
However, I think it's great at plumping up the skin and prepping before makeup for sure. However, I wouldn't get this again as I got a sample and was shocked to discover the price.

I am in my late 30's/early 40's with oily, brown tone skin and hazel eyes. My hair is black, afro with fine texture.
Erm ok I got a sample of this product which was silky smooth and comforting hence i treated myself to a full size (no need to imagine i almost fell over the vanity chair after discovering the price!) I went along with my purchase and week 1 i continued using it (despite feeling that it was not moisturising my skin enough), 2 week the same (I assumed that my skin needed to adjust but after a month I was non the less very disappointed with the condition of my skin. My skin appeared tired and dehydrated. So no it wouldn't recommend this for dry sensitive skin and to be honest it wouldn't recommend it to my clients, friends or family. The only appealing thing about it is the Sexy scent but nothing of essence in this product justifies it retail price. No brainer ladies, save your money!

For the price, I was expecting extraordinary results. Sadly I don't get them. Laden with all sorts of amazing goodies, I expected visible results a lot quicker. It took a month to see results and even then, they weren't amazing for the cost of the product. For the price, there's other products on the market on the offer that will deliver.
